Concerts

The Regent Quartet have performed together for fifteen years, during which time they have played regular concerts at major venues and music festivals both in the UK and abroad.

Recent highlights include:

  • The UK premier of Jeanne Zaidel Rudolf’s ‘Masada’ for String Quartet and Bassoon at Senate House, London.
  • A tour for Scottish tenor John Innes with concerts at the Cambridge Corn Exchange and the Worthing Pavillion.
  • Recitals at the National Portrait Gallery.
  • A concert of Schubert’s chamber music at the Brighton Festival.
  • Performance of early Beethoven chamber music for the London Beethoven Society.
  • Recitals for the Hampstead and Highgate Festival.
  • Concert at the Cambridge Summer Music Festival.
  • Many performances for the Moulton Village Festival.
  • Ealing Festival of Music and the Arts.
  • Many concerts for private charities.

Recently performed Concert Repertoire includes Borodin Quartet, Tchaikovsky Quartet, Beethoven Opus 18 No. 4, Beethoven Opus 131, Mozart 3 Divertimenti, Mozart Clarinet Quintet,Haydn “Sunrise Quartet”, Haydn “The Lark”, Elgar Piano Quintet, Prokofief String Quartet No. 1, Schubert String Quintet, Schubert “Death and the Maiden”, Schubert No. 15 in G, Dvorak American Quartet. We always welcome new repertoire and of course anything from our lighter selections can be performed too.
